Welcome to Little Haus!
“I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.” ~Confucius~
This ancient wisdom holds true till now about how people learn especially more so for the young children. If you have ever wondered why toddlers are always on their feet, touching, feeling and for many always putting everything in their mouth, this probably explains part of it. This is a natural instinct of a child that we as adults or parents have somehow find our ways to inhibit perhaps for convenience-sake and thus forget that learning stems from exploring and experiencing (this means that messiness at times are somewhat unavoidable.)
Children learns best through play, exploration, experience and making discoveries for themselves. A carefully planned curriculum (read: age-appropriate, fun and engaging activities) that keep their little hands busy and minds in awe and wonderment is what is essential for their growing up years.
